About Aman Nick
I build. I learn. I meet people. I share what I learn.
I’m an entrepreneur working at the intersection of telecommunications, AI, business communication and technology.

This is where I document the journey
I started my career on the other side of the phone — as a call-centre agent.
Today, I build communication businesses, experiment with AI, work with people across the world, and spend a lot of time thinking about one question:
How can technology help people and businesses do more without losing the human connection?
Here I share the things I’m building, the problems I’m trying to solve, the people I meet, the conversations that change my thinking — and the mistakes that teach me something.
What I’m doing now
Building for AI-powered communication.
We’re moving from “What phone system do I need?” to “What communication infrastructure does my AI need?” That’s a fascinating transition — and I want to be part of building it.
My journey
I didn’t start as a founder.
Around 2006, I began in customer service, sales, technical support, internet connectivity and network-related issues. That taught me communication technology from the perspective of the person actually using it.
Over time, I moved from being an agent to managing teams, operations and technology — and eventually to building businesses of my own.
I experienced what an agent needs. Then a team leader. Then an operations team. Then a customer. And eventually, a business owner.
Technology shouldn’t force a business to change the way it works. Technology should adapt to the business.
The Telephony Co.
Every call matters.
The idea was never simply to sell phone numbers or telephone connections. A missed call can be a missed customer. A complaint can expose a broken process. A thousand calls can contain patterns nobody has noticed yet.
That’s why I’m interested not just in communication itself, but in the intelligence behind it: analytics, automation, AI, quality assurance, fraud prevention and data.
The goal is simple: make communication more intelligent.
What I’m building
Ideas into products.
Voice AI
Making AI capable of having useful business conversations.
AI agents
Giving AI the ability to perform tasks, not simply answer questions.
Communication intelligence
Turning calls and conversations into information businesses can use.
Contact centre technology
Making customer communication smarter, measurable and increasingly automated.
Call and marketing analytics
Understanding where conversations originate and what happens after the phone rings.
Compliance and fraud prevention
Helping communication networks operate more responsibly.
Some experiments work. Some don’t. Both are worth documenting.
What I believe about AI
Human × AI
Let AI do more of the mechanical work. Let humans do more of the human work.
People I meet
Some of my best ideas started with a conversation.
Customers, employees, vendors, partners, founders and people I met by accident have all changed my thinking. I want to remember the person, where we met, what we discussed and, most importantly, what I learned.
A little beyond business
A business should create room for a life.
I enjoy travelling, meeting people, learning things I know nothing about, experimenting with technology, spending time with family and occasionally switching off from all of it.
One principle I keep coming back to
Don’t start with “What can I sell?” Start with “What problem can I solve?”
Have an idea, want to collaborate, invite me to speak, or simply have an interesting conversation?
